What is S & H Gold?
S & H gold is a simple concept... think of it as a currency. When you join S & H you start with 500 S & H Gold coins! Woo hooo!
What is it used for?
S & H Gold Currency was brought in to stop people just viewing this site for photos and not contributing...
So this gives everyone an equal chance to be an active member.... the average active member shall have no problems with this system. Those that Lurk (i.e. only look) will quickly find they are no longer allowed to see anything!
How's it spent?
To view a topic you may be charged some S & H Gold Coins... Please refer to the following
You will not be charged in the following cases:
- If the forum is free. A lot of the non-pic forums are free to view. Please refer to "Gold Rates per Forum" page for more information.
- You have already paid. You only have to pay once to view a forum. After that you can visit as often as you want.
- If you created the topic.
How do I earn S & H Gold?
Very simply! Interact more with the forum... When you create a new topic or post on an existing one, you will get some coins to spend... You can also buy more coins!
- Creating a new topic
Depending on the forum, you will receive gold for creating a new topic... the number of coins you receives varies from 5 to 200 per new topic. For example, some forums won't pay as well as others... starting a thread in the requests forum won't pay much in comparison to the Classic and Erotic. You get the idea! - Replying to an existing one
Similar as above... whenever you reply to a topic, you will receive between 5 - 50 coins. Again, it all depends on the forum... Please note, if the person that created the thread replies again, they get 3 times the reply reward! - Buying additional gold
If you wish to keep viewing the site, you can buy additional gold via your S & H Coin Centre.

This applies to all members except for Admins and Moderators.
I've run out of gold.. what do I do now?
You've run out of gold because you have spent more time looking then contributing to the site. To get more gold, refer to the previous sections.
Can I convert my gold into UK Pounds?
Yes! Of course you can...
